which is a barcode like system for CCD cameras like on cellphones.

pricing is a bit steep I think for my needs: 30/mo = free 100/mo = $60/yr 2500/mo = $1200/yr

I like the overall idea, but looks like I'll need to find a cheaper service or roll my own.
